The Government are considering the advisableness of cancelling all commissions at present held iu the Militia, and issuing a new list, which would comprise several fresh names. A number of Volunteer corps are offering their services, but none will be accepted unless they are willing to give their services free of capitation. Of course the Government would provide the arms.
