Friday, October 3, 1873. (Before W. Lawrence Simpson, Esq., R.M.) I. Halbejsstkin and Co. v. Thomas Screen, —£3 4s. fid. Settled out of Court. G. M. Starkey v. Harding and Another.— £24 15s. 6d. This case was again adjourned till 10th October, to allow of further evidence being produced. S. Kelly was granted permission to keep her licensed house open on the evening of the 3rd hist, after the usual hours. Theodore Russel was granted temporary license for booth at Wanaka Races. 1). Williamson, for being drunk on the evening of the 3rd hist., was fined the sum of 10s. For assaulting the police, the same was fined 10s. and ordered to pay the costs of Court.
