| SARGINSON—MOFFAT. } ; ' A pretty wedding was solemnised in the Balclutha Presbyterian -Church on 1 Wednesday afternoon, when Miss : Mabel Beatrice Moffat, daughter of 'Mr R. Moffat, Rosebank, Balclutha, was ; united i)i' holy matrimony with Mr Edward Douglas Sargiuson. The church ) was very prettily decorated for the : ceremony, which was performed by Rev. 'S. W. Curi-ie. The 'bride was attended by her sister, Miss : Milly -Moffat, and Isaac 8-argiiison, brother of the bridei groom, was the 'best man. The bride ! wore a pretty white silk eolienne eos- ; tuw'o and a velvet hat to .match, while ! the bridesimaid wore a white silk cosj t«me and a black velvet hat. A large ' number -of guests aud friends assembled j at: the church, and 'Miss V. Jack acted : as organist, playing the wedding march • in her usual accomplished manner. Af- ! ter -the ceremony about 5-0- guests- sat 'down to -the wedding breakfast at the i Piccadilly tearooms, where the toasts j usual to such an occasion were honoured ■ and good wishes, expressed for the future- of the happy couple. The j newly--married pair left by motor- for j Hie north, where the- honeymoon is to be spent. i I j ROSS'—ROBINSON. j A pretty wedding was solemnised in : Wyndhaim 'Presbyterian Church oil : Mar-eli- 24. The contracting parties were Gibson A. Ross, only son of 'Mr and . Mrs Benjamin ®oss, of "Ross Hill," Glenham, and 'Margaret 8., second daughter of Mr and -Mrs Henry Robinson, also of Glenham. Miss Ethel -Rab•bidgc acted as bridesmaid, and Mr Wil- , liam Robinson- (a brother of the bride) i acted as best 'man. Rev. J. >E. Lopdell i w 'as the officiating 'minister. Tire- bride ! iv-as attired- in -cream silk, with overdress of nin-on edged with narrow 'Maltese lace, and pearl trimmings. The bridesmaid wore a -pretty crepe pink lus'ta, with black fringe, a black chiffon hat relieved wi-tjji pink -roses, and car-, ried a bouquet of sweet peas; There were two little flower girls, Alice- and May ißobineon, nieces of -the bride. Af- • 'ter the ceremony the usual breakfast was held and a lengthy toast- list . honoured.
