The selection committee of the South Otago L'ugby Union has chosen a very •iooil representative team, but ou looking over the names of the players selected the public were astonished to '•'find the omission of .lackuiian, who was looked upon as a dead certainty. His [day throughout the season has been good, and on. Saturday Inst, in the game, South Otago v. ''Diggers,'-' he was really brilliant. As the Clutha public have taken a very: keen interest in 'Rugby this season, it is to 'be regretted if anything happens to weaken that interest. The omission of Jacdunan's name is a pitv. —I am, etc., , YOU NO 'UN.
