Kligibles are defined as "every male British subject who has attained the age of I.S and has not reached 41 years, and who at any time since August I I, 1915, has 'been or for the time being is ordinarily a resident of (Ireat Britain." The time of service is stated as for the period of the war.
Xo penalties are mentioned, except for those refusing to produce their exemption certificates when authoritatively asked for them, but section G says that, during the continuance of 'the war, section 17 of the Beserves Forces Act, 1882 (which relates to the offences of a deserter and of absentees), shall havii effect.
