TO THE BDITOE. Sir, —Owing to the operations of the Telegraph Department some of the street lamps were removed. One neat the exMayor's house was fixed up straight away. The other one has not been lit for the past two lighting seasons. Needless to say, none of the councillors live where it is placed.—l'am, etc., 1 MORE LIGHT. ' Balclutlia, April 6, 1918.
