NEW ZEALAND EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. LANDED IN EGYPT. WELLINGTON, Dec. The Governor is advised that the Australian and New Zealand -Expeditionary Forces have been disembarked in Egypt to assist in defence of that country and also to complete their training. When their training is completed both contingents will proceed direct to the front to fight, alongside other British troops. THE KING- IN FRANCE. VISITS THE WOUNDED. LONDON, Dec. 2. We captured a number of trenches at Vermelles (between Lens and Bethune). Our artillery destroyed a battery at Vemjresse, in the Craonne region, We repulsed an attack at Fontaine Maldame, in the Argonne, where we made progress.
