CENTRAL PRODUCE MART. The.Central Produce Mart, Limited (Rcilly, Gill and Company proprietors), report: —During the past week exceptionally heavy consignments came forward directed to our care, and all lines met a ready sale with the exception of chaff, honey and potatoes. Record priees were secured for dessert fruits, and poultry realised high values. We have been favoured with an order for ,5000 cockerels, 5000 boiling hens, 1000 ducks and 2000 goblers and hen turkeys at exceptionally high values, and we strongly advise early consignments. We experienced a splendid' demand for fruit trees, spraying oils, lime sulphur, and spray pumps; also incubators. The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association, Limited, reports as follows for the week ended July 13: — Wheat. —Very few samples are now coming to hand from the south, the bulk of the lines having been sold. There are still large quantities offering from Canterbury, which keeps the market well supplied. Fowl wheat is in short supply and meets with ready sale at quotations. Prime milling velvet, 4s 2d to 4s 3d; Tuscan and red wheats, 3s 6d to 3s 9d per bushel (sacks extra). Chaff. —Consignments have been coming forward freely-, which keeps the market well supplied. There is a better demand for inferior chaff, which is moving off slowly at quotations. Best oaten sheaf, £3 to £3 ss; choice black oat, to £3 10s; medium to good, £2 los to £3 os; inferior and straw chaff, from £2 10s. Oats. —During the last week several thousand sacks of oats have been shipped to the Old Countra„but only choice extra heavy lines. Oood clean ; lines of Duns, black short Tartars, long Tartars are in demand. Prime milling Gartons, to Is IOAd per bnshel; good to best feed, Is 9.1 to Is 10.1 (sacks extra). Potatoes.—Consignments have slack--1 ene.l, and there is a better demand for ! choice lines, but tho market is still well supplied with medium and : inferior, which are difficult to . quit. Choice I freshly-picked lots are worth, to £4 10s j per ton, but medium ans inferipr sell from £3 to £3 15s per ton (sacks included). . t _■ j Straw. —There is a good demand for I both oaten and wheaten, which sells—wheaten 32s 6d, oaten £2 per ton (ex truck). ■ ' . • Hay.—There is a fair demand for hay, ! which is forth from £3 10s to £3 los per ton (ex truck). Grass Seed. —A good demand still continues for all lines of new season's seed. Good heavy farmers' dressed is worth

from 2s 6d to 3s,' while light anil inferior from Is 9d to 2s 4d per bushel. Caeksfoot. —There is still a good demand for all lines of cocksfoot. Good heavy farmers' dressed is worth from 31d to 4*d, according' to weight and quality.

Barley.—The brewers have now a full stock and will not offer for any lines. There is a good demand for damaged lines suitable for feed. Prime malting, 3s lOd to 3s lid; Cape, 3s to 3s 6d; good fee.d, from 2s 6d per bushel (sacks extra).

Turnips.—The market has been well supplied during the present week, and prices have fallen. Good table sorts are worth 22s Gd, while others for stock feed sell at 20s per ton (ex truck).
