CLINTON TOWN BOARD.

The monthly meeting of tho Clinton Town Board was held in the Town Board Chambers on Monday last, when there were present Commissioners Brown (in the chair), W. Nelson, M. Morton, J. Abernethy and H. K, Bell. A letter was received from Mr P. MeSkimming re quotations for field tiies.~ Received.

Accounts to the amount of £8 15s Hi were passed for payment. Commissioner Nelson moved, Commissioner Brown seconding, that this board apply to Clutha County Council for a refund of £3 as expenses for attending to county council's water-tables.—Car, ried.

Commissioner Abernethy moved, and Commissioner Brown seconded"' that ratepayers bo notified that to all rates not paid by March 31 will be added 10 per cent.—Carried.
