URYDALE SALE. The National Mortgage and Agency Company, with Messrs D. Reid and Company, held a very successful sale on account of Messrs Fraser Bros, at Urydale, Kakapuaka, yesterday. There was an attendance of over 500 farmers and others, and everything was disposed of under the hammer at high prices; indeed, the sale was one of the most suecessful_ held in the Clutha district for some time. We give a few of the prices realised:—Sheep: 321 four-tooth ewes, 24/-, 103 two-tooth ewes, 23/-; 32 twotooth ewes, 17/10; 50 f.m. ewes, 19/7; "small wethers, 15/-. Cattle: Cows [brought £9 2/6, £8 2/6, £8; .two-year steers, £5 7/-; two-year heifers, £3 15/-; calves, to 32/-. Horses: Geldings sold at £42, £4O 10/-, £37, £3l 10/-, £27 10/-; ! mares, £39, £37 10/-, £36, £3l 10/-; 18months filly, £l9; foal, by Prince Daniel, £l3 10/-; foal, by Highland Lad, £ll 10/-.
