PERSONAL.

Mr J. R. Leask, the Lovells Flat blacksmith, haß recovered from his recent illness, and is back at the anvil again. Miss Helen Dalrymple, daughter of Rev. A. M. Dalrymple, has been appointed assistant at the Dunedin Girls' High School. Miss Dalrymple has been assistant at the Napier Girls'- High School for some time. Mr A. G. McKenzie has sold his farm at Puerua to Mr L. S. Smith, of Dunedin. Mr and Mrs McKenzie will be entertained at a farewell social by residents of Puerua district on the 28th.
