HON. W. FRASER.

VISITS BALGLUTHA AND CATLINS. As intimated in a recent issue, Hon. W. Fraser (Minister for Public Works) will visit Balclutha and the Catlins district next week. The Minister will arrive in Balclutha by the 5 o'clock express on Tuesday, and will stay at the Crown Hotel over night, receiving deputations from 7 till 9. Mr Fraser will leave Balclutha for Houipapa by a special train at 6.20 on Wednesday morning, going by the Public Works engine to the terminus of the unopened section of the railway and returning to Houipapa at i 0.45. He arrives at Balclutha by his special train about mid-day, leaving for Dunedin by the 5 o'clock express.
