WEDDING.

McINNES-BISHOP. At "Willowbank," Balclutha, yesterday a wedding was quietly celebrated, when. Mr Duncan C. Mclnnes, of Dunedin, and eldest son o| 'Mr William Mclnnes, of Scotland, was married to Miss Susan Coates Bishop, second, daughter of Mr T. C. bishop, "Willowbank," Balclutha. The, ceremony was performed by the Rev. S. W. Currie at 2 o'clock. The bride's sister, Chrissie, acted as her maid, and Mr John I Xicholson, Balclutha, was best man. I The bride lob!|ed very becoming in a I brown costume, with toque to match, and the bridesmaid was prettily attired in a plum coloured dress, and wore a black hat. The ceremony concluded, a splendid breakfast was j partaken of in a marquee, and the usual toasts were suitably proposed. The group, which comprised only the nearest friends of the principals, was then photographed by the inevitable cam- j era man. Mr and Mrs Mclnnes left i for Oamaru by the five o'clook express. | They will reside in Dunedin. I The bride was well-known locally, , and being highly esteemed, she was made the recipient of a host of presents, both valuable and useful. The bridegroom's present to the bride was i a keeper ring, while a gold-mounted greenstone albert was the memento of . the happy occasion which was given , by the bride to the bridegroom. I
