CLEARING- SALE AT HILLENI). The New Zealand Loan and M.A. Co. report a very successful clearing sale on account of Chas. Shand on Friday last. There was a large gathering of buyers from all quarters, and everything was sold under good competition. Mr Shand had everything well arranged and the sale was got through* in good time. Implements, etc., all sold at good prices. OWAKA SALE. The Otago Farmers' Co-op. Assn. report holding their usual sale at Owaka on the 14th, when they yarded 127 cattle, 22 sheep, 12 pigs and two horses, and sold on account of various clients—fat cows from £5 to £6 7/6, dairy rows i£s to £ r t, springing heifers to £5 11/, 2-yr.-old steers £1 10/, calves and yearlings £1 11/ to £2 14/ Young pigs 9/ to 11/-.
