The Preacher;s Secret.

' " I have lived long enough," says an eminent clergyman, "to loam that the secret of happiness is never tcallow one's energies to stagnate." It's (jasy talking, but wo have to allow sorao things j to. happen whether we widl or not. When a mail, hasn't a morsel Ito eat and can't get food anywhere, ihe is obliged to "allow" himself to go- hungy. And "energies" come from something—they depend on something. When something Fails, then the energies stagnate, in spite of all the talk in the world. Just listen to Mr. G. Pedrotta, who lives at 3, Mill Stroe, Adelaide. Speaking of his own experience, he says : ".1 was so out of sorts that J could scarcely keep on my feet, or attend to my business." Jn other words, his energies were stugnated a thing the preacher says ought never to be allowed to happen! 1 Why did it happen'/ Let the man himself explain. "For years," he says, " 1 was in a state of chronic ill-health through indigestion. 1 could neither sleep nor eat well, and suffered from severe puins in the chest and stomach after almost every meal." We venture to say that the preacher never had indigestion like that man had it, or he would never have talked so glibly about not letting one's energies stagnate whether they will or not all they can do is what Mr. Pedrotta did- get rid of their indigestion—and then their energies will stagnate no longer. Air. Pedrotla's letter tells us how he was cured. He writes : " Six l months back, my wife, who has been cured of a long-standing illness by other Seigel's Syrup, persuaded me to try it. When 1 had taken a botlo, 1 icit bettor. All the symptoms oi indigestion decreased, and i gained strengtn, health and appetite. After using a few additional bottles oi the Syrup, all pain was entirely removed. 1 could eat heartily and digest my food without difficulty, and was soon feeling as well as 1 could wish to be. " J still take a little of the Syrup now and then, and it keeps the stomach and other organs in good working order, and benefits my whole system." That is testimony enough to the rurative powers of Mother Seigel's Syrup, for it has not only restored Mr. Pedrotta to health, but an oc-1 casional dose, now and then, keeps his system in thorough working order ! If you want further proof of the value Mother Seigel's Syrup, as a family remedy, here it is, in Mr. Pedrotla's own words : " My wife also uses Moter Seigel's Syrup with the happiest results, whenever she leels a little run down. It is our one and only reuudv for all complaints. 'People who lack energy, feel tired, languid, feeble, nervous, need one thing else has failed. After it is vigorous and comfortable again, viz... food. food will do it, when everything else has fqilcd. ' After it is digested, it will do it—not before. When your stomach is deranged and cannot "digest foc.d,i Mother Seigul's Syrup, the herbal tonic, will tone up and help it to do its work. Vov -10 years past, Mother Seigel's Syrup has brought energy, health and happiness to thousands of tired, dyspeptic men and women just as it will bring these blessings to you ! As a digestive tonic and stomachic remedy, Mother j Seigel's Syrup is unrivalled. Try it I to-day and prove its worth. |
