BALCLUTiHA STOCK SALES. Friday, Dec. 16. The yardings were—793 sheep, 271 cattle,! horse, 50 pigs. Messrs Donald licid and Co. report a medium yarding of both sheop, cattle and pigs. Fat Cattle—Bullocks fold from £7 18/6 to £lO 2/6, cows from £5 to £7 12/6, store cattle from £3 10/ to £5, yearlings to £2 11/, fat wethers (shorn) from 18/4 to £l, fat wethers (in wool) 24/3, fat ewes from 15/10 to 16/8, ewes and lambs from 8/8 to 9/10 all" counted, pigs (slipsi) to 12/6, suckers from 4/ to 7/. We ynrdod 254 sheep, 48 head cattle, and 21 pigs. WEEKLY SALE. E. J. Boyd reports he held his usual weekly sale at his rooms on Friday, Milh inst., when he olTertul a large consignment of ducks, fowls, wheat, oats, furniture, etc., etc., to a good attendance of tin: public. Fowls and ducks sold at full market rates, and a good quantity of furniture was sold under the hammer at satisfactory figures. DUNEDIN PRODUCE MARKET. Monday, December 19. Wheat.—Prime milling velvet 3/10 to 4/, volvotear 3/8 to 3/9, Tuscan 3/6* to 3/7, host wholo fowfovheat 3/4, to 3/6, medium 2/11 to 3/1, brolwn and damaged 3/3 to 3/9 per bushel, sacks extra. Chaff.—Prime outon sheaf £E> 7/6 to i's 10/, medium to good £5 to £5 5/, discoloured and inferior £4 to £1 15/ per ton, Backs o.vtm.
