The appeal from the Owaka Club against Clutha playing junior grade was considered by the O.R.K.U. on Monday evening, when that body came to the conclusion that the resolution of the S.O.E.F.U. in allowing the Clutha Club to be transferred from senior to junior grade was invalid. 'Dili COMMERCIAL'S SECOND TEST. The Commercial Travellers of Otago and Southland play their second test on tho Balclutha ground to-morrow, starting at 1.3U p. in? There are expected to be over IliO gentlemen of the road present in all, and a keen, fast, and exci'.mg game is expected. The Southland team is much stronger than last year, when they were beaten by 2tj points to nil, and they expect to turn the tables to-morrow. Otago are also very cuiiiidenl, and will lie represented by the following :—-llari low; Graham, Lanham, Simpson; Crammond, .Sparrow ; Collie ; Jttidkin, Kilroy, Winter, Dickenson, Feu, McGeever, Ciilan, and Logan (wing).

THE BANNER FINAL. Who is going to win to-morrow, Clinton or Owaka, is the question aSked everywhere, it is a pretty hard one to answer. Both Clubs are confident of victory, and are putting their strongest combinations on the field. With the exception of their defeat by Toko, the Clinton boys have shown very consistent form this 'season. They drew with Owaka in the first round, and gave a good exhibition. Owaka's team has been undergoing several changes lately, and on the whole has been strengthened. Those wlio are on the Caledonian Gramid by 3.30 to-morrow should witness the start of a very keen and interesting gaine.
