EXILES AND REGULATIONS. . 1. Entries must be lodged with the Secretary on or before Thursday, 17th NOVEMBER, up till 8 o'clork p.m. Tickets will be given on that date, stating the classes in which the entries are made, which the person in charge of the exhibits must produce at the gate in order to show in what position they are to be placed and receive catalogue number. 2. All stock must have been the bona lide property of the exhibitor for at least one month previous to the show. The Committee may require declaration to that effect. 3. The entrance fees shall be 5/- to non-members and 2/6 to members. Entries for Dairy Produce and Poultry 2/- to non-members and 1/- for members. 4. On payment of the annual subscription for the year, members will receive a card from the Secretary 011 application, which will admit a lady and member to every show during the season. 5. All live stock must be on the ground not later than 11 a.m., and implements and machinery not later than 10 a.m. The Dairy Produce exhibits must not be brought forward later than 11 a.m. Exhibitors of poultry must provide their own coops. All sheep must be exhibited in their wool unwashed, and with a certificate of when last shorn, with the exception of fat sheep. f>. The agfis of horses and cattle will date from Ist September in any year.

7. No animal which has taken a first prize in the same class three years in succession can compute in the same class in the fourth year, but may compete in that class on that year for the prize for the best in the. yard. 8. Only one person will be allowed in charge of each exhibit of stock. 0. Admission to Show Ground, 1/-. 10. Butter for exhibition to be made up without distinguishing marks. Salt butter to be in kegs or crocks, and must be the production of the exhibitor. 11. In no case shall a premium lie awarded unless the judge shall deem the stock or produce of sufficient merit and more especially if there is insufficient competition. No animal taking a first prize in one class can campete singly in any other class, but this shsUl not apply to classes 71, 73, 7.), 80, 81, Section F., or to Champion prizes. 12. All animals competing for champion prizes must be paraded in the class for champions in which they are entered. I.'i. All protests must be in writing and may. be entered either before or after the Judges have proceeded to their duties, but no protest can be entertained which traverses the decision of the judges. The party entering a protest in horses, cattle, and sheep, must deposit 20/-, and any other class 5/. The deposit will bo returned if the protest be sustained. If tho iflrotest be lodged before the judges proceed to their duties, the onus of proof rests with the exhibitor ; if after that the onus of proof will be with the party protesting. No protest will be received later that 24 hours after the awards are made and the prize tickets affixed. The committee will decide ail protests as soon as practicable. 14. Exhibitors are required to attach to their exnibits while in the Show Yard, the prize card which may be awarded to them, and any exhibitor refusing to do so, or interfering with the Judges in their duties, will forfeit any prizes that may have been awarded to him at the show as the committee may determine. 35. All stock shall be under the direction of the respective attending members of committee throughout the day*. Any exhibitor wilfully breaking this rule shall become liable to forfeit any prizes awarded to him at the show as the committee mav determine.

i'i. Any prize awarded, if not applied for within three months after date will be considered as having lapsed. 17. No animal or article shall be permitted to be removed before 3 o'clock, without the leave of the Secretary, under line of £2. IS. No diseased animal or from, a known or infected llock or herd will be permitted to be shown, and if necessary, owners will require to make a declaration as to freedom from disease of their flocks or herds. 7 19. Brood mares must bo in foal to foal before Ist February, I'JOS, or have a foal at foot;

2§. No horse to be ridden about the ground except when being shown. 21. Cheese proved to' have been, tested or pierced before the show will be disqualified. 22. All prizes to be paid by the treasurer (Mr J, Turnbull) on or after Friday, 2nd December.
