Peremptive right to section 18, block X, at Waikoikoi, 11a 2r, was sold at LlO to Mr Hugh M'Lay. The balance of the sections are now open for sale by private treaty.

DUNEDIN PRODUCE MARKET. Monday, March 9. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report prices at their sale to-day as follows : Oats. —Local stocks are considerably reduced but are sufficient for local requirements until arrival of new crop. This is being offered at Northern ports at even a further reduction on last week's quotations, and in view of this fact, there appears to be little hope of effecting a clearance of old slocks for shipment at anything like late values.' We quote : Prime milling 2s to 2s Id, good to best Is lOd to 2s Od, inferior to medium Is 4d to Is 9d. Wheat—-Prime velvet milling to 4s '9d, medium to good 4s 2d to 4s sd, fowl wheat to 4s Id, broken to 3s lOd. Potatoes.--Good to prime L 4 15s, medium to L 4 ss. Shaff.—Best oaten sheaf to L 4 ss, choice to L 4 10s, medium to good to L 4, inferior and straw chaff L2 5s to L 3.
