Messrs Do^at-d Eeid & Co. report having sold as under at their auctio-j sale on Monday ;—
Oiits. — Prime milling and best feed qualities are in strong demand and meet with ready sale at quotations. Lower grades are not-enquired for and are difficult to plpce. Our catalogue contained only fair to medium feed oats, which wore not strongly competed for. We quote prime milling -2:3 Id, good to beat feed 2s to 2s O^d, medium Is lOd to Is lid, inferior Is 8d to Is 9d per bushel (sacks extra).
Wheat. --We offered several lines of fowl wheat which sold at 2s to 2s Id. One lot extra good 2s 2d. Milling quality, if prime, is in fair demand at Jate quotitions. We quote prime milling 2i 5d to 2s (3d, medium 2s 3d to 2s 4<\ per bushel (sticks in).
. Potatoes. — We catalogue a few lots of medium. quality, for which there was little competition. We quote best kidneys L 2 lOs, others L2 to L2 os per ton (sacks in) . Chaff. — The demand is confined to prime oaten sheaf. Medium samples being almost neglected. We quote : Best oaten sheaf L 2 los to L3, medium to good L2 to L 2 10s per ton (bags extra). l
