GENERAL BULLER ACTIVE.
JOUBERT'S ARMY PACKING UP.
On Sunday General Buller captured and his headquarters at Hussar. He also captured Oingolo Hil', eastwards of Inhlawp, after shelling it with lyddite and inflicting severe havoc on the Boers. After the capture of Oingolo Hill, General B.iller drove the Boers from their s'rong position at Monte Oristo and across th« Tugela after a very hard fi^ht The British captuied several Cirnps and a large number of waggons containing stores and ammunition. The British casualties were not heavy. It is reported there is a considerable movement among the Boers to the north of Ladysmiih. It is supposed to be the result of Lord Robert's entry into the Free Stale.
Ladysrnith reports that there are indie it ions thatths Boers are abandoning their laagers.
