WAIWEEA V. CLINTON.
This shield match, played at Waiwera on Wednesday, 7th inst., resulted in a win for the home team by 9 runs on the first innings with five wickets to spare. The wicket and field were very bumpy, and this no doubt weakened the play of the visitors, whose batting and fielding \iai much below their usual.
