LICENSING DISTRICT OF CLUTHA. ELECTION OF LICENSING COMMITTEE. NOTICE OF POLLING DAY. In pursuance of " The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act, ' 1893," and " The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act Amendment Act, 1895," I, ROBERT GRIGOR, Returning Officer for the Licensing District of Glutha, do hereby give notice that an ELECTION will be held for the return of FIVE QUALIFIED PERSONS to serve as members of the Licensing Committee for the said District, and that the latest day for receiving NOMINATIONS of CANDIDATES will be the Sixteenth day of March, 1897, and that the POLL (if necessary) will be taken at the several Polliug Places of the said District on Wednesday, the Twenty-fourth day of March, 1897. Every Person desirous of becoming a Candidate must be nominated by not less than Two Electors of the District by a Nomination Paper in the prescribed form, delivered to the Returning Officer on or before the Sixteenth day of March, 1897, not later than five o'clock in the afternoon. Each Nomination must he accompanied by a deposit of Ten Pounds.
