Fat C-itfcle. — 15^ head yarded, representing all qualities, with a few pens extra heavy. A very fair demand was experienced again on this ooonsion, last week's prices being about maintained. Best bullocks brought L9ss to Lll 10s, exfcrn heavy LI 2 ss, medium to good L7 17 fid to L9, light weigh ba Lfi 5s to L 7 i2s 6'd, best cows L7 5s to L 8 ss. medium to stood L 5 12s 6:1 toL7, lipht and «ged L3 2s 6d to L 5 !os. Fat Sheep. —3517 penned, including 254 merino wethers. Owing to. the very full entry biddings at the commencement lacked spirit, and pvices obtaining showed a big drop compared with those ruling last week, but as the sules progressed a slight improvement was noticeable both in the demand and prices obtained, although hardly up to the closing rates of the previous week. Best wethers, suitable for freezing, wern in fair demand— for all offered, however, the market was lower, besides, a good many were turned out unsold. Best crossbred weAers brought 12s 6d to 14s 3d, o«£ small po» (picked) 15s, medium to good 8s 9d to 12s, best crossbred ewes 8s 6d to 12s 6'd, light and aged 6s Gl to 83, merino wethers 4s to 7s. Lambs.— The Mutual Agency Company of New Zealand (Ltd.) sold a draft of lamV>* on account of Mrs Anderson (Waiwern.) at 9.s 9d, Pigs. — 6") were penned, nearly all suckers and small sorts, ouly a very few porkoi-s and Ij.'icoueis, which met with a very moderate demand. Suckers fetched fis.to lls. slips 12s 61 to 15s, stores 16s fid to IDs fid, porkers 22s to 275, a lew baconers 32s 6d to 48s each.
