Sides were picked by Pennycook and Joseph, the former being victorious with a good margin of points in favour. No answer has been received from Milton to the Clutha invitation to play here first convenient Saturday. The return match Clutha Bamblers v. Kaitangata Hovers will be played on the lower reserve here tomorrow afternoon. Owaka will play Clinton on Clutha ground on Saturday 28th inst. Clutha will likely visit. Owaka on Arbor Day (Wednesday Ist August). I hope to see another good practice here to-morrow in view of the nunerous forthcoming matches. The Dunedin returns are : —
