The inventor and patentee is Mr Harold, a marine engineer, who has been many years in perfecting it. Instead of using water and generating steam, the new engine utilises fche atmosphere. ' A small flame of oil is burned, and by creating a variation in temperature creates a natural vacuum.' An engine of several horses' power is said to be worked at the extraordinary low costs of twopence per day.
