- . ■ . - • . i '"" "" "" ■ : : — -* 1 New Advertiseraents. j "■ i Just a Word with You ! ! We have now entered upon another season of the year — a season that ; is to each of us much more pleasant, and one that is truly .welcomed by all j The beautiful SPRING TIME, with the flowers opening around us and the I sweet singing of the birds, should certainly* assist in making us truly heppy. And now that we have those beautiful SUN N V DAYS, It is well that we lay aside articles of APPAREL which the Winter Weather necessitates, and deck ourselves in some of the more LOVELY and ATTRACTIVE COSTUMES which are now provided for those who would wish to make themselves even more lovely. We notice that the assortment of DRESS MATERIAL is greater and the Designs and Colourings even prettier and more attractive than in former Seasons. The French Vigoureux Bieges, Foules, French Diagonals, &c, &a, together with the lovely range in PRINTED MATERIALS, which are being shown by Messrs A Mid, of Kaitangata, are a class of goods not to be seen every day. Ladies will do well to inspect these, and we feel confident they will be both surprised and delighted. We note also that the MILLINERY showing this season is pretty indeed. This is a portion of the LADIES' ATTIRE which is ever changing, and we "would think that the designers might he at their wit's end to provide new shapes, But this apparently is not the case, as the Styles shown by tho Firm already mentioned are quite new, and the Trimmings quite different the whole comprising a much greater assortment than formerly seen. The RIBBONS for the season comprise a Large Variety of Designs, Tinsel Ribbons being somewhat prominent. CORSETS have not been overlooked, as many improvements have been made in these Goods. Some of the Dunedin Mouses are showing a very fine assortment of UMBRELLAS, SUNSHADES, &c, but MESSRS AULD can certainly be congratulated upon their success in this Department. Wo. might also say the same of this Firm with respect to the Lovely Patterns in ART MUSLINS and CRETONNES they have displayed at their Gash Emporium, Kaitangata. i
