"—Agreed to. / A letter was read from the, Chairman of ~ Royal Commission on Local Industries, asking for any information that the Council can give on the subject. It was agreed that any member of the ■' ■: Council forward any suggestion to the •= Chairman that may come, under his notice in his district. A letter was read from the Waipori Road Board asking the; Council to, fix the proportion that the Waihola Road Board has to pay for the erection of a culvert on road forming, the boundary of the district. -•;'.,, .. . . - ,„;,,•• Mr Duff moved— " That the proportion that the Waihola Road Board has to' pay towards the maintenance of boundary road be one-half . the coat of. this an&acgy- • other work on same road." Seconded by Mr Hughan, and carried. A letter was read from the Matau Road 1 !
