Sir, — The enclosed came into my hands quite promiscuously only yesterday, and as I do not know the person and place mentioned, and as it seems to disclose a somewhat singular state of things which may be of interest to the Minister of Education, I make no doubt you will rescue it from oblivion. — Yours, &c, Double Furrow. The Usherbati School Committee have guaranteed to supplement these terms to the extent of -£10, provided that three of the children are in daily average attendance at their school (distant about two miles and a ha>f) during tlie twelve months from time of engagement.
