CIVIL LISTS ACTS AMENDMENT BILL.
A Bill intituled an Act to amend " The Civil List Act 1863 Amendment Act, 1873," and to remove doubts as to the Disqualification of certain Member** Of the Executive Council. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority 6f th 6 same, as follows:— 1. Tbe Short Title of this Act "khall be " The Civil List Act Amendment Act, 1876." . 2. The fourth section of '" The Civil List Act 1863 Amendment Act 1873," is hereby repealed. 3. Iri addition to the seven persons riientioried iri section seven of " The Civil List Act 1863 Airietidmeiit A'otj 1873," any person being a member of the Executive Council and holding any One or more of the offices meritioiied iri the Third Schedule to the said Act shall be exempt from the provisions 'bf " Tlie Disqualification Act; 1870," provided he does not receive anj f salary*, fees; ftrages, allowance, erriblriment;, or jirbfit of any kind iri resrte'ct bf the said offices or any of thejn,.or.ag a member bf the* EkecutiVe Council. . . 4.
