SiX, — "Subscriber," in your last issue, 'attributes personal motives as a reason for my contradicting him. Allow me to state that such is not the case. I was not, as ho assorts, doorkeeper at tho concert, nor did I 'collect one cent of the proceeds. "-Subscriber's" declaration to tlie contrary is therefore in fit keeping with the actions of the writer, who is obliged to submit his statements to the public under the cover of ■an assumed name. — I am, &c,
