Nominations for Clutha.Flying Rail* way and Publicans Handicaps, to be made to the Secretary, at the Newmarket Hotel, on Tuesday, 4th April* at 8 o'clock p.m. Weights declared and published in ' Evening Star ', of the 7th, and 'Daily Times ' t>f the Bth April. Acceptances received on llth, April, being night of general entry. Publican's Railway and Novel Handicaps will be declared at the Crown Hotel, on night of first days races, at 8 o'clock. Settling night will take place at Mr Lloyd's, Farmers Arms Hotel, ,on tbo 15th, at 8 o'clock. All entries or acceptances must be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, and contain entrance money, sweepstake, description and age of horses, and colors to be worn by the jockey. A penalty of £2 will be enforced for riding* in wrong colors. The new* rules and weights of the Dnnedin Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to, unless when otherwise specified Mares and geldings allowed 31b.
