Mr Duffield's Victorian . Mill at Gawler has been gutted by fire. It is insured in the Imperial for L 4530, the Cornwall office for LISOO, and the Queen for LIOOO ; the Imperial had areinsurance with the Australian Alliance, Commercial, and Victoria. Large wheat stacks in the stores and the open air were saved. The cause of the fire was apparently accidental.
