(From our own Correspondence,) [By Electric Telegram.] Wellington, Augusb 2Gth S p.m. Mr Macau drew delivered a powerful speech, which deserves serious consideration. The Government tried to push the Abolition Bill into a division yesterday. The second reading will oo decided on Friday. The Committee on the Waitepeka Railway Deviation, report that the deviation would conduce to the accomodation of the district and the profit of tho railway.
