BALCLUTHA, July 7j 1875. (Before J. P. Maitland, Esq., 8.M, ) M'Dcnald v. Lattimer. Claim L21 15s 6d for goods supplied. Judgment was" given for the amount claimed and L2Bs costs. Cramond v Sievewright. Charge of abusive and insulting language. It appeared plaintiff went to defendents hou>e, when there, a dispute arose in connection with some , business transaction between them! plaintiff called defendent a liar, and defendent returned the compliment by calling him a blackguard. Plaintiff stated that he was very much exasperated, and should such provocation fee given him again, there would be no telling what might be the result 1 Case dismissed. In tbe case. Peat v. Wright. Chim of L 42 Is 6d. Judgment was given for.L32 8s no costs. This amount was admitted by defendent, and tendered before action, to plaintiff. R. Grigor v. Thomas Mackay of Hamp. den. Claim of L 37 5s dishonored acceptance Judgment for amount claimed together with L 3 89 costs. Maitland Bros. y. W. M'Fadden. Claim L4 l no appearance of defendent, case adjourned until; Wednesday the 14 inst.
