The Government have done not a little recently, to damage their credit with the conntry. They have made a distinct endeavour in the Rigimental Exchanges Bill tb undo the army reform- pi* their predecessors ; and in the Friendly Societies Bill which waß read a second time on Thursday, they have shown their incompetence for that domestic 'legislation in which they were expected to win* their fchief^loryl^'JEs;aminerV "•■■"
