The local paper reports prices of new grain, appear likely to rule low. For oats merchants offer--2s 6a, but farmers are asking 2s 9d to 3b. The former show no disposition in face of recent Melbourne advices to give way. We have heard of thesale of a parcel of black Tartarian, at 2b 6d, and of several- purchases 'of.prime malting barley, at 4b 6<J. which rate is still obtainable for good samples. In" wheat no transactions of any note have taken place, and market quotation, (jannot bq,Bdid to be established.
