It is suggested that the writers should freely give incidents and individual experiences (not neceasarily those of the author) cf the early settlers. The essay may be written either in Scotch or English, and, although there are no restrictions as to length, it is desirable that it should .hot exceed three or foir co'umns of the Leader.
