Balclutha Advertisements. CE O OTEL, BALCLUTHA. JOHN M'NEIL having purchased from David Maitland, Esq,, the clear freehold of the above well and favorably known up-country Hotel, together with all tho extensive stabling and coach bouses, and a fifteen-acre paddock, is now prepared to receive and accommodate visitors in a very superior style. Families will find at their disposal complete suites of rooms, arranged and furnished bo as to insure the comfort and privacy of a home. Commercial Gentlemen and other classes of Travellers will find that their requirements have received special attention. Ladies travelling alone will appreciate the arrangement for their being waited upon by a civil and attentive staff of female domestics. And the Proprietor hopes that under his own personal supervision the Crowa Hotel will not only retain its past prestige, but that, with the extensive improvements already made, and to be made, he will be able to make the name of his house a household word in the mouths of Travellers passing through the Clutha District. To secure a high standard of excellence in the quality of wines, spirits, and beer kept, arrangements have been perfected by which the best and purest brands will be found in the bar ; in short, the Proprietor has determined to leave no stone unturned to deserve Buccess. THE STABLING Accommodation is unsurpassed by any other in the Province of Otago, the whole having been built within the last three months from -designs embracing all modern improvements. There are 34 stalls, A loose-boxes, harnessroom, &c, the whole being roomy, lofty, well ventilated, and substantially paved with bluestone. None but experienced grooms will be kept, and, as the Proprietor stables nightly a large number of his own horses, it may be depended upon that this important department will never feel the shadow of neglect. Single and pair-horse Buggies and good upstanding Hacka always ready for hire. Of the Paddock, it will be sufficient to say that it forms a part of one of the rich Moljrneux flits so prolific in vegetation. Yeend and M'NeiPs Southern Line of Coaches, Dunedin to Balclutha, M'Nc-il and Williams's connecting line, Balclutha to Invercargill and Tapanui, and Cobb and Cc.'a Line, all run to and from the Crown Hotel, for which the Proprietor now respectfully solicits the patronage of his friends and the public at large. The Billiard Room contains one of Aicock's best tables, with furniture to match, and tended by an experienced Marker. JOHN M'NEIL, Proprietor.
