It would be easy to point- out many necessary works throughout the Clutha district which we think should .have been under* taken by the Government years ago, but our present object is not to find fault. Through the exertions at tbe members ior the <3lut ha considerable sums were voted for this district at last session of the Provincial Council, and in order that the public may see that their interests have been attended to, and know the works to be undertaken, we give a list of thete vote*.
