TABLE HILL DEPASTURING LICENSES.
(To .the Eriifir of the Clutha Leader.) • Sib,— rAllow me a small space in your widely ejaculated journal to call attention to the f ih justice being done to the settlers, miners', &c, in the Table Hill district, by the squatters and their sheep. It is now ten mqntbs since it was resolved that v no - sheep ivould be allowed to be depastured on the goldfields, and instructions were given to have them removed. No depasturing licenses havebceniu foree 7 since the
Ist January last, and yet the sheep are being depastured by certain parties same as formerly. Thus the pasture which belongs ; to the settler and the miner is being unlawfully eaten up by the flocks of the runholder. Have we no ranger or public Board" whose duties it is to attend to this matter ? I wait for reply.~l am, etc y " . . '* . .I i ; '.-"■• SpEABQBAaS. ' Table Hill, Sept. 20. ; , •"" 'I'!''
