He said no weapons had been seized in relation to the inquiry and the police did not believe Miss Mathews had any enemies. The “Northern Advocate” newspaper yesterday reported that residents said Miss Mathews was beaten up before being run over by a vehicle. Detective Sergeant Coghlan would not comment on the report
