Rangers coaches
The Rangers soccer team has two new coaches for next season’s Southern League. Graham Griffiths and Neil Macintosh will share the coaching duties. Griffiths has coached junior teams for Rangers and has coached the Canterbury under-17 side to three national tournament titles. He had a 12-year career with Christchurch United and was capped 13 times for New Zealand. He was the New Zealand player of the year in 1969. Neil Macintosh has coached both Rangers’ and Christchurch United’s second teams. He has also been involved with Griffiths before in coaching the under-17 team. Macintosh played for Rangers for eight years and twice made the Canterbury squad.
