Transmark capital transferred

PA Auckland Almost 30 per cent of Transmark Corporation’s capital has been transferred recently. Most of the shares came from a parcel owned by TranzEquity Holdings, linked to Mr Terry Lowndes who was killed in an air crash in

May, and Baillie Farmers Motors (in receivership). In addition, managing director Mr Nico Wamsteker has reduced his holding from 24.21 per cent to about 17.2 per cent.

Company secretary, Mr Merv Joe, said the shares had been sold to institu-

tional investors. Global Asset Management Trust, of Hong Kong, holds 9 per cent. The proposal to widen the company’s spread of shareholders was reported in June. Transmark reported a 52 per cent lift in interim tax-paid profit ended September 30.
