Identity numbers
Sir,—The Labour Government wants to number us like sheep with ear tags. How can it be serious? We electors need to let them know that these antics are not acceptable. People do not need ear tags for any reason whatsoever. This mob has too many secrets up its sleeve to have any credibility left. The Department of Internal and External Security will be the next to become the New Zealand K.G.B. and we are all set up. The other side of the world is breaking out of the shackles; we are looking at putting them on. We need to stop the Government before it imposes any new tax, and no way will I be numbered. The Government has to go. — Yours, etc., lAN BROWN. December 12, 1989.
