Plea for Christmas toyboy
PA Auckland Santa Claus has received a bomb threat. A boy who wrote via Santa’s helpers at New Zealand Post threatened to leave a bomb by the chimney unless he received a computer for Christmas. One girl asked for a “millionaire toyboy” for her mother, “so we can get a new house and send my older sister away to school.” A spokesman for New Zealand Post said another girl wanted Santa to make her popular with the boys at school. More than 10,000 requests from the Auckland area range from a packet of lollies to computers. One boy asked for $50,000, as well as about 10 toys. Some children have addressed their letters to God, enclosing a birthday wish.
