ual connection to the Earth. An enthusiastic group of ‘greenies’ met recently in Christchurch to form a Green Network. The group has declared today Green Day — a day for spreading awareness and ideas. Any member of the public who would like to

contribute to a sharing of ideas and information meeting, is invited to the Green Network meeting this evening at 85 Bealey Avenue, starting at 7.30 p.m. Greg Kleis, who has been part of the Green Movement for 20 years, will speak on what a Green Party is all about. Women’s Housie evening A Housie evening for women, to raise funds for the work of a women’s anti-racism group, will be held this Saturday, December 16.
