‘Fantastic attitude’
“A fantastic company to deal with” is how Garry Donnithorne Toyota parts manager Kevin Straw describes Toyota New Zealand’s attitude to parts supply. A lot of companies place most of their emphasis on sales, he said, but Toyota New Zealand is very parts-oriented. As a result, Garry Donnithorne Toyota can supply around 97 per cent of parts requested either exstock or at the latest by 8 a.m. the following morning. “They run an excellent service,” said Kevin who has been parts manager at the dealership for 15 years. “Which is great for us, because we’re here to give the customer what he wants, when he wants it at a reasonable price.”
