3-year warranty
In the last two years, Toyota New Zealand, Ltd, has made seven “Sales Team of the Month” awards. Two of them have been won by the Garry Donnithorne Toyota commercial vehicles sales team headed by Roger Greenslade. It is often said that the key to sales success is a belief in the product being sold. Roger Greenslade said in his case that is easy. “You can't offer a three year, 100,000 km warranty on commercial vehicles unless they are absolutely tops.” Roger has been selling Toyota commercials for six years. He said he cannot imagine himself selling anything else. “Toyota is heading for its ninth year as the number one commercial seller in New Zealand. It’s simply the best there is. I would find it very hard to sell another marque knowing that it wasn’t the best.” The Garry Donnithorne
Toyota commercial sales division operates on the corner of Selwyn Street and Moorhouse Avenue, separate from passenger car sales because the product and the market are
different. “Our buyers are less concerned with colour, shape and aesthetics. They need to know whether a vehicle can do the work required of it.”
