Rank ‘don’t sell’
The directors of Rank Group, Auckland-based office and party equipment hirer, have issued a don’t sell notice to shareholders. They told the Stock Exchange that an announcement giving the reasons for the notice would be made within a week. Rank’s shares last sold for 70c, and its profit for the full year ended March 31 was $1,077 million ($176,000 loss previously). The company has not yet released its latest half-year result.
